Climbing the “camino”: the staircase in the rock
This excursion, of great historical and panoramic value, takes place along the border between Lombardy and Trentino, once the frontier of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, as evidenced by the remains of military fortifications along the way.
Of particular interest is the spectacular staircase (approximately 250 steps), built into the rock during the war by the Alpine troops, and the 360° panorama of Lake Garda and the main mountains of Adamello and Brenta.
